CLASSROOM ASSISTANT, RICHLAND, WA

Sagebrush Montessori is seeking a new team member as part of our educational programs. Position available is for a classroom assistant in one of our Children's House classrooms (3-6 year olds), supporting our Montessori guides (teachers). Classroom assistants provide support both in the classroom with children and behind the scenes, making materials and keeping things tidy.

 

Interested candidates should have a love of working with children, a range of crafty skills, and a love of the outdoors. You should also be tidy, organized, reliable, and responsible.

 

Interested candidates should also have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid training, Bloodborne Pathogens training, and be able to pass a background check.

 

The position will start with in-service training on August 14, 2025, and will continue through the school year. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm.

CHILDCARE LEAD AND ASSISTANT TEACHERS, RICHLAND, WA

​

Sagebrush Montessori is seeking both a childcare Lead Teacher and a childcare Assistant Teacher for our 3-6 year old before and after school childcare program. Position will start with in-service training on August 14, 2025, and will continue through the school year. Schedule includes a single Monday shift (exact times TBD by enrollment) and Tuesday-Friday split shift 7:00-9:15 am and 11:30 am- 5:45 pm.

 

Interested candidates should have a love of working with children, a range of crafty skills, and a love of the outdoors. You should also be tidy, organized, reliable, and responsible. Interested candidates should have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid training, Childcare Basics (30 STARS hours), a negative TB test, Bloodborne Pathogens training, a Washington State Food Handler's Card, proof of measles immunity, and a Portable Background Check through DCYF.

 

Applications will be reviewed and interviews will take place July 7-18.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour

ELEMENTARY BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE, RICHLAND, WA

Sagebrush Montessori is seeking a childcare Lead Teacher for our elementary before and after-school childcare program. Position will start with in-service training on August 14, 2025, and will continue through the school year.

 

Schedule is Monday-Friday split shift 7:00-9:00 am and 12:00 - 6:00 pm.

Interested candidates should have a love of working with children, a range of crafty skills, and a love of the outdoors. You should also be tidy, organized, reliable, and responsible.

 

Responsibilities include
- Create engaging and educational lesson plans for children in the after-school program.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play.
- Implement age-appropriate activities to promote development in various areas.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including CPR and food handling.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
